SOMEWHERE IN A PARALLEL UNIVERSE

Somewhere in a parallel universe, there lived a girl who wasn’t judged because of the way she laughed or what she wore.

There lived a girl, who wasn’t judged by the society based on how many male friends she had. She wasn’t mentally tortured by her relatives to lose weight at a very young age who were only and only concerned about her future wedding. She wasn’t made to learn to adjust, or wasn’t forced to cook, just because she will get married one day.

There lived a girl, who wasn’t physically abused by men, who didn’t raise their hand on her just to show out their frustration or show her who was the dominant person.

There lived a girl, who wasn’t considered as an outcast in a so-called “well-behaved” society just because she had a loud voice or who didn’t have table manners.

There lived a girl, who had all the freedom to go out and travel the world, her parents allowed to do so without forcing her to get married. Where marriage wasn’t considered as a ticket to fulfill her dreams.

There lived a girl, whose every single minute step in her life wasn’t deeply analyzed and criticized.

There lived a girl, who didn’t stay silent when a man tried to molest her, she didn’t feel she will be judged if she raised her voice, or remembered and tortured for a small inappropriate scene.

There lived a girl, who wasn’t prepared from a young age how to behave with the in-laws, do chores to work for them. She was prepared to be independent, she was made to learn things required to face the world.

There lived a girl, whose decisions and analysis wasn’t judged by the society based on her gender but on her wit.

There lived a MAN, who didn’t feel ashamed when he was compared to a girl.

There lived a girl, who wasn’t raped every now and then, she was never the person who faced the humiliation or criticism. She never felt she was impure. She never lost her confidence, she held her head high and achieved her dreams just like others in that universe.

There lived a girl, in a PARALLEL universe.
